Cascade Engineering Introduces Maintenance-Free Frontload Containers

GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan, October 12, 2004, - The life of a heavy-duty waste container continues to get longer, stronger and more efficient, thanks to Cascade Engineering’s new Rotational Molded (RM) Frontload Container.

The Grand Rapids, Mich.-based company, a leader in injection molded plastics for the automotive, industrial and waste management industries, has introduced the new Frontload Container as a time- saving, cost-effective and more environmentally friendly solution for heavy-duty waste disposal.

The new heavy-duty plastic containers replace the traditional metal waste containers which required frequent painting, dent repair and general maintenance, and had a much shorter life-span. Locations such as school playgrounds, corporate waste facilities, municipalities and apartment complexes are ideal for the new containers. 

The Company noted several other important improvements on the new Frontload Container.  The new designs are 30 percent lighter than metal predecessors, allowing for much easier moving and re-positioning.  The heavy-duty plastic construction is also graffiti-resistant and UV-stabilized against the long-term effects of the sun.  The rugged plastic features optional in-mold name plates for branding and theft reduction, and reduces noise levels during use by up to 50 decibels, making pickups an option even in noise-sensitive locations.
