Cascade Engineering Presents
New Simulation Analysis Tool to Users Group in Japan
GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan, August
30, 2004, - Cascade Engineering is spearheading another
innovation, recently teamed with plastics software developer
Moldflow, to showcase software that simplifies the
simulation process and improves overall engineering
efficiency.
Paul Van Huffel, Cascade Engineering senior engineer,
presented the Moldflow Core Deflection Analysis tool and the
impact of this technology to the International Moldflow
Users Group in Tokyo, Japan on August 26-27, 2004.
Cascade Engineering has led a beta program to utilize a core
deflection analysis system that helps link flow analysis
with structural analysis, providing better imaging, clearer
3D trials and improved results with molding simulations.
“The Moldflow software takes the injection molding
simulation process and blends the flow and structural
analyses,” said Van Huffel. “This allows our engineering
team to recognize potential problems before the production
process begins - something we couldn’t do before - and gives
us a powerful problem-solving tool to utilize when serving
our customers. We can create solutions that not only meet
their needs, but provide a better understanding of the
results in a much shorter time-frame, dramatically improving
our efficiency.”
The Company also said that the Moldflow Core Deflection
Analysis plays a critical role with potential customers,
allowing Cascade Engineering’s engineers to provide
customer-centered innovations and solutions that analyze
their needs and provide a greater level of accuracy and
detail than ever before.
Cascade Engineering has targeted several key customers with
this technology in a variety of industries, including
automotive, industrial and waste solutions.
