| Cascade Engineering Appoints Lorissa MacAllister to Board of Directors GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan, January 21, 2004 – Cascade Engineering, a leader in engineered plastics systems and components, today announced the appointment of Lorissa MacAllister to the Company’s Board of Directors. Commenting on the appointment, Fred P. Keller, Chairman, stated “Lorissa’s experience, both as a professional in the world of environmental architecture and design, and as a native of West Michigan have uniquely qualified her for this board position with Cascade Engineering. We are confident that she will help us continue to improve the Company, our employees and community.” MacAllister, a Grand Rapids native, is currently the Health Care Studio leader and director of the Healthcare Facilities Group for Progressive AE of Grand Rapids, Mich., a leading architecture and engineering firm. “I am pleased to be joining the board of Cascade Engineering and look forward to helping the Company chart a course for continued growth,” MacAllister said. “Cascade has an outstanding reputation and 30-year history as socially and environmentally responsible organization. I am proud to be a part of both the Company’s history and future.” MacAllister is a member of several organizations and is a LEED 2.0-accredited professional and associate member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). She is on the planning commission for Cascade Township, a member of the Gilda’s Club board and is the vice president of the Keller Foundation. MacAllister is a graduate of the University of Vermont, and holds a masters degree in architecture from the University of Michigan.
