Cascade Engineering CEO Fred P. Keller Named Entrepreneur of The Year in Social Responsibility Category
GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan, June 20, 2002 – Fred P. Keller, Chairman and CEO of Cascade Engineering, was named as West Michigan’s Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in the Social Responsibility category tonight in a ceremony at the Amway Grand Plaza.
The EOY winners are selected by an independent judging panel in each community. Keller now goes on to attend the Ernst & Young National Entrepreneur of the Year Award gala in Palm Springs, California, November 23, 2002
Mr. Keller founded Cascade Engineering in 1973. He and the company have been blessed to receive several awards in recent years, including:
- Chrysler Corporation’s Role Model for Technology Award (1997)
- Michigan Manufacturer of the Year for CEO Fred P. Keller (1998)
- Ron Brown Award for Corporate Leadership (1999)
- Corporation of the Year – Minority Business Award (2000)
- Plastics News Processor of the Year (2001)
