Cascade Engineering CEO Receives Society of Plastics Engineers 2002 International Award

Fred P. Keller Honored For Accomplishments In Business Management

GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan, May 7, 2002 – Cascade Engineering Chairman and CEO Fred P. Keller has won the Society of Plastics Engineers 2002 International Award for Business Management. The award is given every year to an individual who has made outstanding contributions to the plastics industry.

SPE recognized Keller for making innovative and outstanding contributions in business management relating to the plastics industry. Keller founded Cascade Engineering in 1973 at the age of 29, and has grown the company into a global and internationally recognized company, with 10 local facilities and joint ventures spanning three continents.

“Recognition from one’s peers means a great deal to me,” Keller said. “It is a great honor to receive this award from the Society of Plastics Engineers.”
