| Cascade Engineering Acoustic Group Achieves I.S.O. 14001 GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan, February 14, 2002 – The Acoustic Group of Cascade Engineering has achieved ISO 14001 registration. The registration came on the recommendation of SGS, the registrar assessing the company’s system. “We are very proud of this accomplishment,” said Jeff Miles, who led the Acoustic Group’s effort to conform to the standard, which measures a company’s environmental management systems. “Cascade Engineering is an extremely conscientious company from an environmental standpoint, and we are glad to follow the Automotive Trim Solutions Group as the second product group this month in the company to exemplify that commitment.” The ISO 14000 series is a family of environmental management standards developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), one of the world’s principal voluntary standards development bodies. The ISO 14000 standards are designed to provide an internationally recognized framework for environmental management, measurement, evaluation and auditing. Cascade Engineering is a world leader in injection molding of systems and components for the automotive, solid waste and industrial markets. The company has an unswerving determination to achieve worthy goals. The Cascade Engineering Family of Companies, which employs more than 1,200 people, reported 2000 revenues of $215 million.
