Cascade Engineering Names Jennifer Fischer General Manager of Home & Office Group

Grand Rapids, MICHIGAN – Mike Valz, president and chief operating officer of Cascade Engineering, has announced the appointment of Jennifer Fischer as general manager of the firm’s Home & Office Group.

The Home & Office Group manufactures a variety of products, ranging from chair components to air and water treatment systems. In her new role as general manager, Fischer will focus on critical quality, cost, delivery and safety issues, as well as customer relationships and meeting customer needs.

Fischer most recently served as interim general manager for the Home & Office Group. She joined Cascade Engineering in 2000 as director of strategic planning.

“Under Jennifer’s continued leadership, I am confident that we will become the most reliable producer of high-quality injection molded products in the office furniture and consumer products industry,” Valz said.

Fischer earned her Master’s of Business Administration degree in Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University, and her Bachelor's of Science degree in Business Administration and Accounting from the University of Dayton. She is an active member of the American Production and Inventory Control Society, and of the National Association of Purchasing Managers.
