Cascade Engineering Opens Tooling Facility In Hungary
New Operation Represents Significant Expansion Of Cascade

Rapids, MICHIGAN - Cascade Engineering has opened a new
tooling facility in Halasztelek, Hungary, to support Cascade
Engineering Europe, which is headquartered in the same city.
The 10,000-square-foot tooling facility, which will employ
16 people, will utilize state-of-the-art equipment to create
tooling designs at CAD/CAM workstations, with the ability to
accept electronic data from customers, and to employ the
latest software to create full 3-D design, solids and
wire-frame modeling, plus cutter-path generation.
Cascade Engineering Europe, established just outside
Budapest in 1992, manufactures air ducts, instrument panel
components, door trim components, precision electrical
components and mechanical components for the automotive and
electronics industries. Products are exported to Germany,
Japan and the United States.
