History and Capabilities
FaceCascade Engineering thrives on finding solutions to tough challenges – that's the vision that drove Fred P. Keller when he began Cascade Engineering in 1973, and it remains an accurate reflection of the company's success today. Cascade Engineering has continued to build on its reputation as a developer and manufacturer of injection molded products for leading firms in the automotive, solid waste and industrial markets.

Cascade Engineering is known for handling tough molding projects. From molding the first Equa™ chair for Herman Miller to having a major role in developing acoustical barriers for General Motors, Cascade Engineering has the technical abilities to handle the most challenging jobs.

9,000-Ton Injection Molding Press
Cascade Engineering is known globally for having a 9,000-ton injection molding press – one of the largest in North America. This press is used to produce high-tech waste containers for the nation's largest waste haulers. In 1997, Cascade made international headlines by using that same press to develop the world's first all-plastic automobile body, the Composite Concept Vehicle, for Chrysler Corporation.

Global Vision
The Cascade Engineering vision became global through strategic alliances. The first was in 1988 with Japan's Starlite Company in a joint venture known as StarCade, Inc., now Automotive Trim Solutions.

Through its present-day affiliations with Cascade Engineering Europe, Systex Products Corporation, Noble Polymers, Pyper Products, and CK Technologies, Cascade Engineering creates solutions to challenges for customers throughout North America, Asia and Europe.
